The 4th person from the left emigrated to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada around 1965.
The person standing between Cyril & Ron was a survivor of Dunkirk, a great guy.
Ron was the Tool Room supervisor.

Hi Rob.

My name is Cyril Miller worked at STC New Southgate from 1961/90. I have just bought a laptop and I am still very green typing with one finger so please forgive me for any mistakes. I managed to get in on STC website and saw the photo sent in by Alan Hedges STC inter departmental tool room cricket team about 1957/8, and I am quite sure I can put names to some of the faces. So here goes:

Starting from the extreme left is, 1 Bill Denton, 2 know the face no name, 3 with the hat on sure it is Eric Fisher, 4 yes he went to Canada, 5 Cyril Mac as I called him, 6 Don Muller, 7 Ron Nightingale, 8 Terry Andrews, 9 Stan Bailey, 10 Alan Hedges.

Ron Nightingale was my supervisor when I worked in the tool room, and Don Muller was my brother.

Mr. SNA Walker was responsible for all the apprentices at New Southgate, a nice boss to have.
Forty Five years later, although Andy West and I live many miles apart we still get together when I return to England.
